Skyline Conference Basketball Championship Fields Set; Farmingdale State Women's, Men's Teams to Open Play at Home Wednesday Night

NEW YORK | The fields are set for the 2026 Skyline Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, and Farmingdale State College will play host to St. Joseph's University-Long Island in a home doubleheader on Wednesday night (February 25) to start tournament play. The fourth-seeded Rams' women's program will kick off the action with a first-round contest against the fifth-seeded Golden Eagles at 5 p.m., before the second-seeded FSC men's side squares off with seventh-seeded St. Joseph's in quarterfinal play at 7:30.

The winner of Wednesday's first-round game in the six-team women's championship will advance to Friday's 5 p.m. semifinal at top-seeded Manhattanville University, with the championship final taking place on Sunday, March 1. On the other side of the bracket, sixth-seeded Sarah Lawrence College plays Wednesday in a 6:30 p.m. first-round game at No. 3-seed Mount Saint Mary College, with the winner traveling for a 7 p.m. Friday semifinal at second-seeded U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

The 2026 Skyline Conference Men's Basketball Championship features eight teams, with Wednesday's FSC-SJLI winner advancing to Friday semifinal action against the winner of a Wednesday, 7 p.m. quarterfinal between (6) Manhattanville University and (3) Sarah Lawrence College. Like the women's tourney, the championship final will take place on Sunday, March 1. The other side of the men's bracket features eighth-seeded SUNY Old Westbury playing Wednesday at 8 p.m. at top-seeded Yeshiva University, while fifth-seeded Purchase travels to fourth-seeded Maritime for a 7 p.m. tip-off. All rounds of the championship will be contested at higher-seeded home sites in each match-up.

The winners of the 2026 Skyline Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will receive the conference's automatic bid to their respective NCAA Division III Championships, which get underway March 6.
