FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Skyline Conference released its weekly reports on Monday afternoon, and Farmingdale State College women's tennis freshman
Emma Johannsen (Verplanck, N.Y.) was tabbed as its Rookie of the Week, while two Rams student-athletes were cited on honorable mention lists.
Women's Tennis (5-5, 2-0 Skyline) | Skyline Report
Farmingdale State moved its winning streak to four straight matches, as it captured three victories on the week: Tuesday versus Baruch (5-2), Wednesday in conference play against Mount Saint Mary (4-3), and Saturday at William Paterson (6-1).
Johannsen went 3-0 at both No. 5 singles and No. 3 doubles to capture the Skyline's weekly honor, while teammate and senior
Gabriella Loria (Levittown, N.Y.) went a combined 5-1 during that stretch to receive honorable mention kudos.
The Rams have four matches this week, beginning with back-to-back Skyline road tilts at Manhattanville (Monday, 4 p.m.) and Sarah Lawrence (Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.). FSC will then travel to Lehman for a 3:30 p.m. non-conference match on Thursday afternoon, before playing host to Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday at noon.

The Rams' teams took part in the Queensborough Invitational on Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park, with the men's and women's contingents placing third and 10th, respectively.

Gabriel Aguilar (Levittown, N.Y.) received an honorable mention accolade from the Skyline, after he placed 11th on the 8,000-meter loop with a time of 29:49.2.
The Rams will travel to Newark, N.J., on Saturday for the NJIT XC Invitational at Branch Brook Park.

Farmingdale State split its pair of road Skyline matches last week, dropping a 1-0 decision Tuesday at USMMA before responding with a 4-0 victory Saturday against St. Joseph's-Long Island.
The Rams will travel to Purchase for a 7 p.m. Skyline kickoff on Tuesday night, before returning home Saturday for a noontime tilt with conference foe Mount Saint Vincent.

FSC battled USMMA to a scoreless draw in conference action Tuesday, before falling by a 1-0 count Saturday at defending Skyline champion St. Joseph's-Long Island.

Vas Dallas (Garden City South, NY) made 12 saves across his 180 minutes in the Farmingdale State cage on the week, including Tuesday's eight-save shutout versus the Mariners.
The Rams will play host to two conference matches this week, including Tuesday's 4 p.m. start against Purchase and Saturday's 2:30 p.m. kickoff versus Mount Saint Vincent.

Farmingdale State is in competition Monday afternoon at Rensselaer's RPI Collegiate Invitational in Loudonville, N.Y., and will travel back to the Capital District this weekend (Sat.-Sun.) for the 54-hole Skidmore Invitational at Saratoga Spa State Park. This weekend's invitational will be the Rams' final competition before the Oct. 18-19, Skyline Conference Championship (Mansion Ridge; Monroe, N.Y.).

Men's Tennis (1-2)
Farmingdale State traveled to Schenectady, N.Y. on Saturday for the Garnet Cup competition, falling to host Union by a 7-0 score before losing a 6-1 contest to Oneonta.
The competition was the Rams' last for the fall portion of their schedule. The team will next begin its Skyline championship defense on March 30, with a home match against St. Joseph's-Long Island.
