COMPLETE SKYLINE CONFERENCE RELEASE

---

NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference released its 2026 edition of the women's soccer all-conference teams Saturday, and four student-athletes from Farmingdale State College were recognized for their regular-season excellence. Sophomores Jenna Biondo (North Babylon, N.Y.) and Katelyn Nunziato (North Babylon, N.Y.) both received first-team honors, while seniors Kayla Mendez (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Esmeralda Merlos (Farmingville, N.Y.) garnered second-team accolades.

Biondo was a mainstay in the midfield for the Rams (11-5-3, 8-1-2 Skyline), registering 17 points (7g, 3a) in her 15 games played. The Sept. 8 Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Week ranks third on the team in goals, and fourth in points.

Nunziato holds the team lead in goals (10) and points (26) from her winger position, while her six assists rank third. She has set career-highs in all three categories entering the postseason, and holds top-six Skyline rankings with her points (T-5th) and goals (T-6th) totals.

A second-team All-Skyline forward in 2024, Mendez returns to the listing after ranking second on the Rams with career-high totals in assists (7) and points (23). She also ranks second on the team in goals scored, as she has found the back of the net eight times to date.

Merlos has been the anchor of a FSC defense that conceded just five times during Skyline competition, and posted 10 clean sheets in regular-season competition. The center back's 1,195 minutes played across 17 contests rank third on the squad.

Third-seeded Farmingdale State opens the 2026 Skyline Conference Women's Soccer Championship at home on Sunday, when it plays host to sixth-seeded St. Joseph's University-Long Island in a noontime first-round match.
