WOMEN'S RESULTS
PURCHASE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State men's and women's cross country teams kicked off their 2025 seasons at the annual Purchase College Invitational on Saturday. The men placed three runners in the top-30 and finished third overall, trailing only Merchant Marine and Coast Guard. The women earned a 12th place team finish, highlighted by freshman
Amelia Vitale's (Hauppauge, N.Y.) 19th place finish in her collegiate debut.
Junior
Gabriel Aguilar (Levittown, N.Y.), an All-Conference runner last season, led Farmingdale State with an 11th place finish in the men's 6k race in 20:59.2 (5:37.7 pace). Sophomore
Jack Lengyel (Cheshire, CT) placed 19th in 21:21.4, while freshman
Matthew Misciagna (Hauppauge, N.Y.) took 27th in 21:45.5.
Freshman
Gavin Calvo (Mastic, N.Y. - 23:04.5) and sophomore
Aaron Rivera (Levittown, N.Y. - 23:12.6) rounded out FSC's top-five in 52nd and 54th place, respectively.
On the women's side, Vitale tallied a time of 17:36.9 for her 19th place finish in the 4k race.
Freshman
Emily Graziano (East Islip, N.Y. - 21:20.5) took 65th out of 138 runners, while seniors
Kimberlyn David (Mastic Beach, N.Y. - 24:22.5) and
Olivia Finnegan (Massapequa, N.Y. - 24:23.1) placed 98th and 99th, respectively.
Coast Guard dominated the event with 17 runners inside the top-20.
The Rams return to action next Saturday, September 13th, at the Golden Eagle Invitational in Stony Brook, N.Y.
