FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | For the second year in a row, the Farmingdale State College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is excited to play host to a holiday toy drive as part of the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation program, from now until December 18 (Mon.) in Nold Hall.
Members of the FSC community are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys and books to the donation boxes in Nold over the next few weeks, as well as during the upcoming FSC men's and women's basketball home contests prior to final exams.
"Being able to come together around the holidays and give back to those who could use a smile is extremely rewarding," said senior Alycia Haynes, president of the Farmingdale State SAAC and captain of the Rams' women's cross country and track and field teams. "While our student-athletes take pride in what we accomplish in competition and the classroom, it is especially important to show our great pride in giving back to our community through the Toys for Tots program."
