Rams Travel to Hunter Invitational

Game Two: Rutgers-Camden - 3, Farmingdale State - 0

New York, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team (5-10) traveled to play in the Hunter Invitational on Saturday, October 4th, falling in games against Hunter and Rutgers-Camden.

Against Hunter, the Rams were defeated 3-0 (9-25, 15-25, 11-25). Senior libero Theresa Rokee (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) had 12 digs in the match.

In the second match of the day against Rutgers-Camden, Farmingdale State fell 3-1 (16-25, 25-22, 12-25, 16-25). Freshman midfielder Dominique Cunningham (Amityville, N.Y./Copiague) led with 10 kills and two solo blocks, while Rokee tallied up 15 digs.

The Rams will have a break until Saturday, October 11th for a Skyline Playdate at Old Westbury, where the team will face Mount Saint Vincent at Noon and Mount Saint Mary at 2:00 p.m.
