Rams Improve to 2-0 in Skyline Conference

Junior setter Falon Taddeo (Oceanside, NY) led the Rams over Maritime 3-0 as she posted six aces, 9 assists and 11 digs. Farmingdale (5-3) improved to 2-0 in the Skyline, while Maritime fell to 0-4.

Freshman outside hitter Melissa Rudy (Dix Hills, NY) led the Rams in kills with 9. Sophomore Gina Moscato (Hicksville, NY), who was just recently named Skyline and WIAC Player of the Week, finished with 6 kills, 3 aces and 13 digs. Freshman setter Megan Cranmer (Hicksville, NY) dished out 8 assists and served up 6 aces.

The Rams will take on Skyline opponent King’s Point at home on Wednesday, September 22nd at 7pm. In the last meeting, Farmingdale faced King’s Point in the Skyline Semi-Finals where they fell 3-2 in an exciting marathon five-game match.
