Mahwah, N.J. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's outdoor track teams competed at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships this past weekend at Ramapo College in Mahwah, N.J. The men's team finished tied for seventh place out of nine teams, while the women's team did not score.

Freshman Jyaire Ewa (North Massapequa, N.Y.) earned Second Team All-Conference honors with a runner-up finish in the hammer throw after a toss of 47.80M (156' 10"). Ewa is the #2 hammer thrower in Division III and also placed sixth in the discus with a 40.39M (132' 6") performance.

Freshman Idowu Bamisile (Brooklyn, N.Y.) ran 55.71 in the 400M hurdles to place fifth in the event and move to #5 on the FSC All-Time List. He also anchored the eighth place 4x400M relay team.

Freshman Nicole Franz (Melville, N.Y.) set a pair of personal bests at the championships. She ran the 1500M in 5:24.01 to move into ninth place on the FSC All-Time List and ran 2:37.88 in the 800M.

Junior James D'onofrio (West Babylon, N.Y.) recorded a fifth place finish in the 100M with a season best time of 11.11 (11.15 trials). He followed with a personal best 22.77 in the 200M and anchored the fourth place 4x100M relay.
