Cadle-Hinton Breaks School Record in Weight Throw

Sophomore Maia Cadle-Hinton (Huntington, N.Y.) broke the school record for the 20-Lb. Weight Throw on Saturday afternoon, as the men's and women's indoor track team competed in the St. Joseph's Winter Festival held at St. Anthony's High School. The Rams took 1st place in three events and placed in nine other events at the meet.

Maia's throw, which was recorded at 46' 3 1/4" (14.10m), is now the top mark in the NJAC this season, and broke the school record that has been held since 2009 by Gina Pierre. Her throw placed her in 7th, falling only behind six Division I student-athletes at the event.

Jovanni Parkinson continued his hot running anchoring both the 4X200m (22.62) and 4X400m (50.77) winning relays. Jonathan Gortman won the 60m High Hurdles, setting personal bests in both the trials (8.76) and the finals (8.73). Jon's time improves his #2 performance on the Farmingdale All-Time list.
