Coach: Chris Roche (6th season)
Coach Chris Roche came to Farmingdale State in the summer of 2005. Since then, Chris has completely turned around the women's soccer program, compiling an overall record of 57-39-7, leading his team to three straight Conference Championships (2007, 2008, 2009) and three NCAA Tournament appearances (2007, 2008, 2009).
Prior to Farmingdale, he was the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Briarcliffe for two years, where he coached the team to an 18-8-2 record, as well as a number three ranking in the country in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
Chris graduated from the University of Scranton in 1985 with a
Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance. While studying at Scranton,
he played one year of soccer and was then hired as the assistant coach.
Chris is the owner of Prime Time Sports, an indoor soccer facility
in Copiague, NY. He currently resides in Commack, NY with his wife
and three children.
Assistant Coach: Fred Pavey
This is also Fred's sixth season at Farmingdale State. Fred holds a NSCAA National Diploma and is a licensed referee. He is active in the local soccer community, training several youth teams.
His college days were spent attending Hofstra University. Fred is a life long Hicksville
resident who enjoys spending time with his wife Dina and dog Harley.
