Geneva, N.Y. - Farmingdale State women's soccer team came back from a 1-0 deficit at the half to defeat Gettysburg College 2-1 in a non-conference game played at Cozzens Field as part of the 2010 Heron Cup in Geneva, N.Y. The Bullets scored the first goal of the game 26 minutes, 22 seconds in as the Rams goalie came out to play the ball, but lost control of it. Sophomore Lindsey Lyons (Pennridge/Hatfield, Pa.) was there to send a header into the back of the open net. It was Lyons' second goal of the season.

It wasn't until the 72nd minute that Farmingdale got on the scoreboard. Junior Katrina Cerverizzo (Center Moriches/Center Moriches, N.Y.)  sent a shot into the top ride side for her first goal of the season. Sophomore Corine Magee (William Floyd/Mastic, N.Y.) was credited with the assist. Then in the 87th minute, after Gettysburg was called for a foul, first-year Yvonne Santos (Hicksville/Hicksville, N.Y.) took a free kick just outside of the box for the Rams. Santos sent her shot right over a row of Gettysburg defenders and into the back of the net. The game-winning goal was Santos' first tally this season.
