Farmingdale State to Add Women's Lacrosse
May 7, 2004

Farmingdale State is pleased to announce that the College will be starting a Women's Lacrosse program beginning next academic year – 2004-2005. Next season the team will compete at club status and will be a full fledged NCAA Division III team beginning 2005-2006.

The College's goal is to build a Women's Lacrosse program that rivals the winning tradition our Men's program has established over the past 30 years. Farmingdale State will now offer 16 Intercollegiate Athletic teams with the addition of Women’s Lacrosse.

If you have any interested student-athletes, please contact Deana Ward at 631-420-2178. Deana currently serves as the Sports Information Director, Senior Women's Administrator and will be the Assistant Coach of our Women's Lacrosse program. Deana was an All-Conference player at Endicott College and was an Assistant Coach for two years at Elms College. A Head Coach will be named shortly.
