Skyline Releases Women's Basketball Report #8

- Kimberly Blakney named Player of the Week

Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the eighth Women's Basketball report for the 2009-10 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Senior guard Kimberly Blakney (Brooklyn, N.Y./Benjamin Banneker) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Blakney averaged 22.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 6.0 steals and 2.5 blocks to help the Rams improve to 10-0 on the season. Blakney had a game-high 27 points along with 11 rebounds and six steals in a 77-50 win over NYU-Poly. She added 18 points, nine rebounds and six steals in just 20 minutes against Bard. The senior guard leads the conference in scoring, rebounding, and steals.
