Skyline Releases Women's Basketball Report #7

- Kimberly Blakney named Player of the Week

Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the seventh Women's Basketball report for the 2009-10 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Senior guard Kimberly Blakney (Brooklyn, N.Y./Benjamin Banneker) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Blakney averaged 28 points, 17.5 rebounds and seven steals a game, leading Farmingdale to wins over Connecticut College and SUNYIT in the ECAC Holiday Festival. Blakney was named the Bracket "C" Most Outstanding Player for the Tournament. She had 24 points, 16 rebounds and seven steals in a 69-55 win over Connecticut College. In the next game, Blakney set tournament single-game records with 32 points and 19 rebounds, while adding seven steals in a 61-54 win over SUNYIT.
