2005-06 Women's Basketball Season Summary

The women's basketball team finished with a 20-9 record and 3rd place in the Skyline Conference. Coach Mooney won his 100th game this year in the Rams' conference semifinal win against Stevens, sending the team to their third straight appearance in the Skyline Finals. The women went on to receive a spot in the ECAC Tournament and won the first-ever ECAC Championship in school history, led by sophomore forward Mercedes Miller, who received MVP honors in the Championship game. Miller scored a team-leading 444 points this season and was named First Team All-Skyline, ECAC Division III All-Star and First Team All-Metropolitan Basketball All-Star. Senior guard Kristen Tong was named Honorable Mention All-Skyline. The team will be graduating four players this season, including Kristen Tong, Nicole Judkins, Melissa Harry and Angie Williams.
