Sophomore forward Mercedes Miller (New York, NY/Manhattan Center) and senior guard Kristen Tong (Swanzey, NH/Monadnock Reg.) were named to the All-Skyline Conference Teams on February 28th, 2006. The teams are selected by the Skyline Conference women's basketball coaches.
Miller, who was named First Team All-Skyline, led the Rams this year in points, rebounds, blocks and free-throw percentage. She scored a total of 353 points (15.3 per game), grabbed 217 boards (9.4 per game), blocked 38 shots and averaged 77.5-percent from the charity stripe. She finished the regular-season with a total of 10 double-doubles. Over the season, Miller was seen on many weekly awards including D3Hoops Team of the Week, Skyline Player of the Week, ECAC Metro Player of the Week and Met Basketball Teams.
Tong was named Honorable Mention All-Skyline. She finished the regular-season third in scoring on the team with 10.3 points per game, had 43 steals, 35 assists and shot 33.1-percent from three-point territory (43-for-130). In her two-year career with the Rams, Tong has started in 51-of-53 games, totaling 495 points, 98 steals and 96 assists.
