Coach Mooney wins 100th Game as the Rams Advance to the Skyline Finals

Hoboken, NJ The #3-seed Rams (17-8) defeated #2-seed Stevens (19-8) tonight in a Skyline Conference women's basketball semifinal game in Hoboken, NJ. The win marks Head Coach Chris Mooney's 100th victory in his sixth season, leading Farmingdale State to their third-straight appearance in the Skyline Finals. The Rams only led by two at the half, but were able to hold Stevens to 20-percent from the field in the second. Four players finished in double digits for Farmingdale State.

Rams sophomore forward Mercedes Miller (New York, NY/Manhattan Center) scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for her 11th double-double of the season. Senior center Melissa Harry (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) finished with 13 points, while sophomore guards Dankery Perez (New York, NY/Manhattan Center) and I'shawna West (Hempstead, NY/Hempstead) added 11 points each.

Dora Enright led Stevens with 19 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Jenna Gambino notched a double-double of 12 points and 11 boards. Dani Dudek finished with 14 points.

Farmingdale State will travel to Newburgh, NY on Saturday, February 25th for the Finals against #1 seed Mount Saint Mary College. The Rams have met Mount Saint Mary in the finals for the past three years and the winner will get a ticket to the Division III NCAA Tournament.
