Farmingdale, NY - Third-seeded Farmingdale State (16-8) defeated #6 seed Manhattanville (7-18) tonight in a Skyline Conference women's basketball quarterfinal game in Farmingdale, NY. The Rams dominated all game, leading 43-25 at the half, and held the Valiants to just 29 points in the second for the 85-54 victory. Farmingdale advances to the Skyline Semifinals on Thursday night, playing the winner of the #7 St. Joseph's vs. #2 Stevens game. The Rams had five players in double figures, including senior Angela Williams (New York, NY/Murry Bergtraum) with a team-high 14 points.

Farmingdale State senior Kristen Tong (Swanzey, NH/Monadnock Reg.) finished with 13 points. Senior Nicole Judkins (Fort Drum, NY/Indian River) tallied 11 points (3-of-6 from three). Junior Rochelle Clark (Bellport, NY/Bellport) just missed a triple-double with 10 points, nine assists and nine steals. Sophomore Mercedes Miller (New York, NY/Manhattan Center) scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Manhattanville's Sarah Kinsley (Pearl River, NY) finished with game-highs of 16 points and 13 rebounds. Jazmine Leon (Spring Valley, NY) grabbed 10 boards and added eight points.
