Rams Regular-Season Ends with Ninth Straight Victory

Hackettstown, NJ - The Rams (15-8) ended the regular-season tonight with a 92-75 win over Centenary College (8-16). Farmingdale State has won nine straight since losing to Stevens on January 16th. The Rams will start the Skyline Conference Playoffs beginning with the quarterfinal round on Tuesday, February 21st.

Sophomore forward Mercedes Miller (New York, NY/Manhattan Center) led Farmingdale State with a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. Senior center Melissa Harry (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) dropped 16 points and grabbed seven boards. Senior guard Kristen Tong (Swanzey, NH/Monadnock Reg.) finished with 15 points. Sophomore guard Dankery Perez (New York, NY/Manhattan Center) finished with six assists, while junior guard Rochelle Clark (Bellport, NY/Bellport) tallied five assists.

Centenary was led by Danielle Arndt with a game-high 29 points, Lenaya Price with 19 points and a game-high 13 rebounds and Ayana Way with 10 points.

The Rams will start the conference playoffs this week, site and opponent will be announced by the end of the night.
