Patchogue, NY - The Farmingdale State women's basketball team won their seventh straight game on Monday night with a 72-65 win over St. Joseph's College in Patchogue, NY. The Rams improved to 13-8, 7-3 Skyline, while the Golden Eagles fell to 11-13, 2-9 Skyline. Farmingdale State sophomore Mercedes Miller (New York, NY/Manhattan Center) finished with 17 points and senior Melissa Harry (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) tallied 12 points, nine boards and three blocks.

Senior Kristen Tong (Swanzey, NH/Monadnock Reg.) and sophomore I'shawna West (Hempstead, NY/Hempstead) scored 11 points each for the Rams.

Kristen Mando led St. Joseph's with 22 points, eight rebounds and two blocks. Kelly Murphy had 14 points and six assists, Katie Dornemann had 10 points and seven boards.

Farmingdale State travels to City Tech on Wednesday, February 15th for a non-conference game at 5:00pm, before traveling to Centenary on Saturday, February 18th for their final regular-season game at 1:00pm. The Rams are currently tied in 3rd place with King's Point.
