Farmingdale State Women’s Basketball improved to 11-4 overall, 7-1 Skyline last night with a 59-50 win over Stevens (9-6, 2-2). The Rams 10-point lead at halftime was the deciding factor in the game after Stevens took the second half 27-26. Farmingdale’s Sharon Billips (Brooklyn, NY/John Jay) led the scoring with 17, while Angela Williams (New York, NY/Murry Bergtraum) led the team in rebounding with 12. Jenea Lockley (Roslyn, NY/Roslyn) finished with 11 points, two blocks and eight rebounds for the Rams.

Dora Enright led for Stevens with 12 points and 10 boards, while Jenna Gambino finished with 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Farmingdale will return to action as they host SUNY rival Old Westbury on Saturday, January 22nd for a conference game at Noon.
