Kissimmee, Fla. - The Farmingdale State softball team finished 2-4 over their final six games at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Florida.

Farmingdale State vs. Montclair State - BOXSCORE

The Rams scored a run in the top of the first before Montclair State responded with two in the second and four runs in the third to take a 6-1 lead. After FSC cut the deficit to 6-2, the Red Hawks added four runs en route to the 10-2 victory.

Farmingdale State senior catcher Meagan Anderson (Patchogue, N.Y.) scored both of the runs for the Rams in the loss.

Farmingdale State vs. Marietta - BOXSCORE

Trailing 4-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Farmingdale State scored one run to close within three. Marietta tallied the final run of the game in the top of the seventh for the 5-1 win.

Sophomore shortstop Amanda Prescia (Oakdale, N.Y.) was 2-for-2 at the plate with a double and a run scored for the Rams.

Farmingdale State vs. Springfield - BOXSCORE

Tied 0-0 entering the top of the eighth, FSC junior second baseman Ally Mancini (Valley Stream, N.Y.) hit a 2 RBI double to left center to give the Rams a 2-0 advantage. Springfield tied the game in the bottom of the eighth and won with a walk-off sacrifice fly in the ninth.

Mancini finished 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, while junior left fielder Allison Dailey (Commack, N.Y.) was 3-for-3 on the day. Junior first baseman Lori Michalowski (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) had two hits in three at-bats for Farmingdale State.

Farmingdale State vs. Dickinson - BOXSCORE

Farmingdale State led 6-2 before Dickinson used an 11-run fifth inning and a five-run seventh inning to earn the 18-7 victory.

Anderson was 1-for-2 with a homerun, while junior shortstop Kerri Ossenfort (Farmingdale, N.Y.) was 2-for-3 at the plate with a team-high three runs batted in. Junior designated hitter Jenna Crawford (Farmingdale, N.Y.) and freshman right fielder Ana Vargas (Bay Shore, N.Y.) each added two hits for the Rams.

Farmingdale State vs. Hamilton - BOXSCORE

FSC led 5-2 after two innings and plated 10 runs in the sixth as they recorded a 15-2 win over Hamilton.

Anderson was 4-for-4 with three runs scored and 2 RBI, while Michalowski had three hits and three runs batted in. Junior scored baseman Brittany Ciaramitaro (Levittown, N.Y.) was 2-for-4 with three runs scored, 2 RBI and stole two bases for the Rams. Freshman pitcher Jaxie Collard (Deer Park, N.Y.) earned the win after throwing six innings, allowing two runs on six hits.

Farmingdale State vs. Utica - BOXSCORE

After five runs in the first two innings for Utica, they recorded their final run of the game in the fifth en route to the 6-0 victory.

Freshman center fielder Aleysha Midgett (Huntington, N.Y.) had Farmingdale State's only two hits.

The Rams next will open Skyline Conference play when they host Mount Saint Vincent in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 19th at noon.
