Arielle Morelli Named Skyline Rookie of the
Week
Farmingdale State freshman catcher Arielle Morelli (Oakdale,
N.Y./Connetquot) was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the
Week for women's softball on Monday, April 14th.
Morelli hit safely in six straight games last week, going
12-for-20 (.600) with a double, home run, six runs batted in and
seven runs scored. Morelli went 4-for-6 as the Rams swept a Skyline
doubleheader from Mount Saint Mary. She also went 4-for-7 with a
home run in a non-conference doubleheader against
Manhattanville.
