The second game was a win for Rams senior pitcher Tiffany deBeaumont (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) as she pitched a complete game for the 5-4 victory.
In game one, St. Joseph's jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first and Rams sophomore pitcher Jaclyn Buckshaw (Oakdale, NY/Connetquot) held them scoreless until the final two innings. Santoriello added an RBI ground-rule double in the sixth to score sophomore second baseman Erin Dodge (Plainedge, NY/Island Trees) and give Farmingdale the insurance run they needed for the win. Martinez and junior pitcher Toni-Ann Romano (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) each had three hits for St. Joe's.
The Rams travel to Kings Point, NY on Wednesday, April 12th for a conference doubleheader against Kings Point at 3:30pm.
