Rams Compete Against DI Colleges at Armory Invite

New York, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's and women's indoor track team traveled to the 2017 Armory Track Invitational this past weekend. At the meet, the Rams competed amongst many large Division I colleges, including Ohio State, Duke, Texas, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Cornell and Columbia.

The men's team finished as the top Division III team at the meet while their 4x200m Relay team qualified for ECAC's and moved to #6 on the FSC All-Time list. The men's relay team included sophomore Philip Sellitto (Levittown, N.Y.), junior Michael Tristano (Farmingdale, N.Y.), junior Idowu Bamisile (Bordentown, N.Y.) and junior Nicolas Fratto (Farmingdale, N.Y.).

The women's team had four Top-10 list performances at the meet. Junior Nicole Franz (Melville, N.Y.) moved to #4 on the 500m All-Time list, while sophomore Rae-Anne Guglielmo (West Babylon, N.Y.) improved to #5 on the 500m list. Junior Megan Eiseman (Seaford, N.Y.) moved to #2 on the 1000m All-Time list, while Johannah Brown (East Meadow, N.Y.) ran a 9.15 in the 60m to move into #9 All-Time.

The Rams return to action on Saturday, February 11th at the St. Joseph's Invitational at St. Anthony's High School in South Huntington, N.Y.
