Manhattan, N.Y. - Sophomore Corine Magee (Mastic, N.Y./William Floyd) placed third in the 55m dash with a time of 7.25 (7.19 trials) to lead the women's team to a 22nd place finish in the meet. There were 78 teams that entered the meet with 46 scoring. Magee also placed seventh in the 200m in a time of 25.79.

Sophomore Faustine Chukwuezi (Central Islip, N.Y./Central Islip) placed fifth in the triple jump with a season-best leap of 11.46m (37' 7 1/4"). This improves Chukwuezi's national qualifying performance. Sophomore Victoria Mandat (West Babylon, N.Y./North Babylon) ran 26.61 in the 200m to set a new personal best time.

Sophomore Ed Brown (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore) took back his school record in the 35lb. weight throw with a toss of 16.84m (55' 3"). Brown had previously held the record until it was broken by teammate John Roselle with a 16.83m throw.

Senior Qasim Ellis (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale) was the only man to score for Farmingdale State with a fourth place triple jump of 14.39m (47' 2"). The men placed 38th out of 53 scoring teams.
