Three Qualify for ECAC's at Great Dane Invitational

The men's and women's indoor track team competed in the Great Dane Invitational this Friday, January 20th at the 168 St. Armory in New York, NY. The Rams had three new ECAC Qualifying times and six personal bests set at the meet. Freshman Earl Noel (Yonkers, NY/Saunders) qualified for the ECAC Championships in the 55m Hurdles in a time of 8.06, a personal best. Earl was followed closely by captain Reggie Routier (Freeport, NY/Freeport) in an ECAC-qualifying personal best of 8.08. Reggie has now qualified for two events at the ECAC's, the Triple Jump and Hurdles. Junior Armann Leifsson (Melville, NY/Half Hollow Hills East) also qualified for the ECAC's after he ran 1:58.04 to place 7th overall in the 800m. The men's team placed 13th out of 14 teams.
