Men's Tennis Earns 9-0 Win at Sage

Troy, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team earned their first conference win of the season after Sunday's 9-0 victory at Sage. The Rams are now 4-5 overall and 1-2 in Skyline action.

The Rams cruised through doubles competition and recorded all three points. In the #1 slot, sophomore's Zachary Baker (Carmel, N.Y.) and Bradley Maslak (Middle Island, N.Y.) carded an 8-1 victory. At second and third doubles, respectively, the pair of freshman Dylan Murarka (Westbury, N.Y.) and junior Patrick Madigan (Sayville, N.Y.) along with sophomore Josh Kaplan (Greenlawn, N.Y.) and Herlis Reyes (New York, N.Y.) each tallied 8-0 shutout wins.

In a singles sweep, Baker (6-0, 6-0), Murarka (6-1, 6-1), Maslak (6-0, 6-1), Kaplan (6-0, 6-0), Madigan (6-0, 6-1) and sophomore James Roth (Massapequa, N.Y.) (6-0, 6-1) all carded victories.

The FSC men's tennis team next will travel to Brooklyn College for a non-conference match on Thursday, April 13th at 4:30 p.m.
