Rams Shutout York (N.Y.) in Non-Conference Game

Brooklyn, N.Y. - Sophomore midfielder J.T. Famularo (Levittown, N.Y.) scored two goals as Farmingdale State shutout York (N.Y.) 3-0 in a non-conference game on Monday. The Rams improved to 3-5 overall on the season.

In the 21st minute, senior midfielder Renato Ipince (Lima, Peru) set up Famularo for a breakaway goal to put Farmingdale State ahead 1-0.

The Rams increased their lead to 2-0 on a Joe Lipsky (Plainview, N.Y.) header off senior midfielder Tyler Rollman's (West Islip, N.Y.) corner kick early in the second half. Farmingdale State scored the games final goal with 7:41 left to play as Famularo connected for the second time.

Freshman goalkeeper Keith Orlando (Medford, N.Y.) recorded a career-high 11 saves in the victory.

The Rams next will host NYU in a non-conference game on Saturday, September 28th at 2:00 p.m.
