Shaw's Three First Half Goals Leads TCNJ Past Rams

Glassboro, N.J. - Senior midfielder Kevin Shaw (Brookside, N.J.) scored three first half goals to lead The College of New Jersey past Farmingdale State on Saturday evening at Rowan University. The Rams dropped to 1-3 on the season.

Leading 2-0, Shaw scored for the third time with 7:25 remaining in the first half to give the Lions (3-1) a 3-0 halftime advantage.

Freshman forward Sean Etheridge (Oakland, N.J.) scored a pair of second half goals for TCNJ as the team capped off a 5-0 non-conference victory in the Kelly's Sports Ltd./Rowan Invitational.

Farmingdale State senior goalkeeper Angelo Viteritti (Huntington, N.Y.) was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Rams next will host William Paterson in a non-conference game on Saturday, September 14th at noon.
