Rob graduated from Massapequa High School in 2007, where he was named All-County and received the All-Academic award. He is the son of Robert and Frances Nosworthy.

Sophomore Year...Scored 33 goals and recorded 20 assists for 53 points, which was fifth best on the team...Received Second Team All-Skyline Honors...Ranked sixth in the conference in points per game (3.31), seventh in goals per game (2.06) and ninth in assists per game (1.25).
