The Farmingdale State menís lacrosse team improved to 3-4 overall after a 19-6 victory over Division II Dominican College in Blauvelt, NY on Wednesday afternoon. Freshman Gianluca Carrabs (Glen Cove, NY/Glen Cove) and junior transfer Dennis Forgit (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) scored 3 goals a piece to lead the Rams attack. Sophomore Joe Meola (Rocky Point, NY/Rocky Point) added 4 assists and 1 goal for the Rams, with four other players adding 2 goals a piece.

Senior goalkeeper Tony Sheridan (Merrick, NY/Mepham) was awarded the win after 4 saves in the first two periods. Junior Kevin Winters (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) tallied 4 saves in the third period and freshman Chris Hardgrove (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) stopped 7 shots in the final period of play.

For Dominican, Sal Betty (Suffern, NY) tallied 2 assists and a goal. Goalkeepers Mike Delillo (Yorktown, NY) and Dan Stiso (Suffern, NY) combined for 10 saves on the day.

The Rams now travel to Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ for a game on Saturday, April 9th at 1:00pm, before hosting Manhattanville College on Sunday, April 10th at 1:00pm.
