The Rams improved to 7-5 overall with a 13-5 win over Division II Dominican College (3-9). Farmingdale dominated throughout the first two periods and took a 10-3 lead at the half. Dominican was unfortunately plagued by penalties as they finished with 21 to the Rams 9. Farmingdale led in ground balls (58-38), shots (55-33) and face-offs (13-6), while also scoring on five extra man opportunities. Gordon Bopp (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) and Ryan LaFlare (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) both netted 3 goals for the Rams, Joe Meola (Rocky Point, NY/Rocky Point) and Mike Cullen (Merrick, NY/Calhoun) scored two a piece. Anthony Sheridan (Bellmore, NY/Mepham) held the Chargers to only five goals off 33 shots and finished with 16 saves.

Farmingdale faces Mt. St. Vincent at home on Saturday, April 24th at 1pm.
