Flournoy and Smith Receive All-Conference Honors


Clifton Park, N.Y. - Junior guards Dyshaun Flournoy (Brentwood, N.Y./Brentwood) and Joshua Smith (Deer Park, N.Y./Deer Park) were each named Second Team All-Skyline Conference, as announced by the Skyline Conference on Wednesday, March 2nd.

Flournoy played in every game this year for Farmingdale State. He was 2nd on the team and 10th in the conference in scoring after averaging 14.5 points per game. Flournoy ranked 3rd on the team in steals (32) and held a .385 shooting percentage from 3-point range, which ranks 8th in the conference. Dyshaun finished 4th in the Skyline with 60 3-point field goals made. In conference play, he led the team with 15.2 points a game.

Smith played in all 25 regular season games and averaged 15.2 points per game, which led the team. Smith ranked 8th in the conference in scoring and held a .507 field goal percentage, which was 10th best in the Skyline. Joshua also led Farmingdale in assists (69) and steals (35) and was second on the team in rebounds (5.3 rpg). In Skyline games, Smith averaged 14.6 points per game (14th in conference), had 55 assists and shot 49.1% from the floor.
