Rams Win Seventh Straight in Impressive Fashion

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's basketball team scored a season-high 113 points in the victory over Mount Saint Vincent this afternoon. The Rams improved to 11-2 overall with the win, 6-1 in Skyline play, while the Dolphins dropped to 7-7, 5-3 in the conference.
In the first half, the game was tied 10-10 at the 14:13 mark, before Farmingdale State went on a 32-10 run over the next seven minutes. Senior guard Damien Santana (Brooklyn, N.Y. / Grady) led all scorers with 20 points in the half, shooting 7-for-11 from the field, including 4-for-6 from three-point range. The Rams went into the locker room holding a 57-34 lead after shooting over 70 percent from the floor.
Senior guard Joe Cammarata (Levittown, N.Y. / MacArthur) opened the second half scoring Farmingdale's first nine points, all from behind the three-point arc. Cammarata was 5-for-5 from three-point range, scoring 17 points in the game. Santana and junior guard Mike Campbell (Bronx, N.Y. / Samuel Gompers) led all scorers with 26 points. Senior forward Erastus Shannon (Amityville, N.Y. / Copiague) scored 15, while Junior forward Daniel Philips (Baldwin, N.Y. / Baldwin) scored 10 and recorded a team-high six assists.
Mount Saint Vincent was led freshman guard Keiran Halton (Manasquan, N.J. / Manasquan), who had a team-high 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
The Rams next travel to Yeshiva for a Skyline Conference game on January, 20th at 8:00pm.
