
Rams Win Wyndham Reading Tip-Off Tournament

Reading, Pa. - Farmingdale State junior guard
Mike Campbell (Bronx, N.Y./Samuel Gompers) put together a career
performance recording his first double-double of the season earning
28 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Rams (2-1) to a 77-62 win
over Albright (2-1) on Saturday evening at the Bollman Center in
the championship game of the Wyndham Reading Tip-Off tournament.
Campbell was named the Tournament's Most Valuable Player.
The game, which was a back and forth battle throughout, saw two
other Farmingdale players finish in double figures. Senior forward
Erastus Shannon (Amityville, N.Y./Copiague) was dominant from the
free throw line going 13-for-13 and 6-for-12 from the floor to
close out the contest with 25 points. Senior guard Damien Santana
(Brooklyn, N.Y./Grady) ended the day with 13 points and was just
one rebound away from the team's second double-double. Both Shannon
and Santana were named to the All-Tournament Team.
The Rams will now travel to Baruch College on Tuesday, November 25th for a non-conference game at 7:00 p.m. Live stats will be available for the game.
