Farmingdale State junior guard Peter Lipka (Shelton, Conn./Shelton) was named to both the Skyline and ECAC Player of the Week Honor Roll for men's basketball for his play during the week of January 29th - February 4th.
Lipka led the team to a 2-1 week as he shot .571 from the field and from three-point territory. Against Stevens, Lipka drilled all nine of his field-goal attempts and was 6-for-6 from downtown in the second half (24 points). He finished with a team-high 27 points on 10-for-11 shooting. He was 7-for-8 from long range in the game and pulled down six rebounds. In an all-important win over Yeshiva, he led the team again with 20 points before adding nine more points in the win at Centenary.
Lipka is currently ranked 9th in Division III with a .482 3-point field goal percentage.
