Greensboro, N.C. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team posted a final round team total of 317 at the 2018 NCAA Division III Championships at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C. The Rams played the West Course this afternoon and missed the cut after finishing with a two day total of 638.

FSC was led by junior Chris Fischer (Mineola, N.Y.) who followed an opening round of 78 with a 75 today. Junior Jack Truncale (Nesconset, N.Y.) recorded a two day total of 161 (83-78), while junior Joe Itzkowitz (Smithtown, N.Y.) carded a second round score of 81.

The cut for the team championship was 607 and individually, four players at +4 are playing off for the final spots tomorrow morning at 7:45 a.m. Host school Guilford College (578) holds a three shot lead over both Washington & Lee and Methodist University.

The third round will begin at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow and will be played on the East Course.
