Rams Place Second at St. Joseph’s Invitational, Livolsi Runner-up
Mt. Sinai, N.Y. - Junior Matt Livolsi (Stewart Manor, NY / Sewanhaka) shot a three-over par 73, leading Farmingdale State to a second place finish at the St. Joseph’s College Invitational. Livolsi, the individual runner-up to Manhattan College's Thomas Romano (Farmingdale, NY / Farmingdale) (71), finished strong after a tough start to his round. He was five-over par through five holes, before finishing the final 13 holes at two-under par, including an eagle on the par five 8th hole.
Farmingdale’s Joe Russo (Kings Park, NY / Kings Park) shot a 79, placing him sixth overall. The Rams were defeated only by division I Manhattan College, who shot a team best 305.
Farmingdale now travels to Hudson Hills Golf Club on Monday, September 15th for the Yeshiva Invitational.
