Rob Savarese Named Skyline Pitcher of the Week
Farmingdale State senior pitcher Rob Savarese (Syosset,
N.Y./Syosset) was named the Skyline Conference Pitcher of the Week
for baseball on Monday, April 21st.
The senior left-hander improved to 4-1 on the season as he tossed
five shutout innings in leading the Rams to a 14-0 victory over Old
Westbury and a sweep of the doubleheader. Savarese, who sports an
impressive 1.85 ERA, surrendered just three hits as Farmingdale
went 4-0 in Skyline play for the week, improving to 11-3 in the
conference.
