Farmingdale dropped two games to Centenary College (11-3, 2-1 Skyline) in a Skyline Conference doubleheader and fell to 4-6, 2-3 Skyline this season. In game one, Nigel Archibald (Franklin Lakes, NJ/Indian Hills) hit a 2-run homer to put the Cyclones up 2-0 before the Rams scored an unearned run in the bottom of the third to make it 2-1. In the sixth, Farmingdale came back with an RBI single by Keith King (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) to score Bill Jansen (West Hampton Beach, NY/West Hampton) and tie it up 2-2. Centenary answered with two runs in the seventh inning to take the conference victory 4-2. King and Jansen both went 1-for-3 for the Rams, while Gary Block (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) was 2-for-4 with a stolen base (5).

In game two, Robert Sorbera (Fresh Meadows, NY/Cardozo) gave the Rams a 1-run lead off a single in the bottom of the first, but the Cyclones scored four runs in the last four innings to take the win 4-1. Sorbera went 1-for-3 with an RBI for the day, while Ian Roche-Tilden (Huntington, NY/Harborfields) was 2-for-4 with two stolen bases (8).

Farmingdale faces FDU-Madison on Tuesday, March 30th at 4pm in a single home game.
