Title: Assistant Baseball Coach

Kevin Salmon was hired as the FSC Pitching Coach for the 2013 season, where he led our pitching staff to a Top 25 ranking for ERA. This past summer, he coached the Long Island Macos of the North Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League.

Salmon pitched two years at Briarcliffe College and two years at Coastal Carolina University, where he was named to the All-Big South Tournament team. At Briarcliffe, he was top 5 in the Nation for K's per 9 innings pitched. He was selected for the Junior College All-Star team and played competitively around the country. Out of Coastal, he was signed as a Free Agent with the Philadelphia Phillies organization and spent two years in the minor leagues with the Batavia Muckdogs and the Lakewood Blueclaws. In 2007, he was named the Spring Training Player of the Year. For the 2008 season, he played for the Washington Wild Things.

Salmon has worked as a Pitching Instructor for Matt Gulliano's Play Like a Pro since 2010. Before that, he spent three years as the Pitching Instructor and Infield Instructor at Sal Agostonelli's Long Island Baseball Academy.

Kevin currently resides in Brentwood, N.Y.
