Pennino joined the coaching staff at Farmingdale State in the fall of 2013. She earned a softball scholarship at Division I Manhattan College and was a four year letter winner. Pennino set and still holds the school record for career saves. She graduated in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education.
Liz went on to join the Bay Shore High School softball program in 2010. She helped improve the JV team and was an assistant for the Varsity program, who earned a trip to the New York State Championship.
During the 2011-12 season, Pennino was head coach for the 12U Heat Fastpitch organization. In 2012, she started her own softball organization named the LI Surge Fastpitch.
Liz now works part-time in the athletic department at Farmingdale State College as the Travel Coordinator and an Adjunct Professor.
